Playing Cat and Mouse as the Cat can get boring though, so I suspect I'll need to think through party and adventure design more thoroughly than I have in the past with "Rebellion in a Box" style games.Įdit: formatting fixes after posting initially on iPhone. In that vein I am tempted to have starship transport be issued on an as needed basis rather than permanent assignment unless there's a Pilot PC.Įssentially, it makes sense to me that Rebel PCs should be outgunned and desperate whereas Imperial PCs should be trying to catch Rebels in a straight up fight: the one they can win. Buying and bringing your own weapons to the Imperial rodeo can be seen as something to frown upon as rejecting the discipline the Corps maintains - a less extreme version of Deathwatch marines aversion to looting. At a minimum Stormtrooper armour, blaster rifle or carbine, few grenades. Although, I'm not entirely sure there is a "too good" in this case for Imperial PCs, considering if they are Stormtrooper Corps elite infantry or special operations forces they are going to be subject to gear requisition and standard load out instead of the Rebel style bring your own.
